Ever since the news spread about the release date of John's new solo album there were tons of discussions as to why the album was called The Imperium, if that was all correct and then I had a comment in the shoutbox and saw it on other forums too, that it's called "The Empyrean". Since I only post what I hear and read and didn't see any official title release I chose not to correct my first entry about the album. However now it's pretty clear that there was a missunderstanding and the title is indeed "The Empyrean". I went to check on its meaning as I read it before but wanted to see for myself. Here's what I found out:

meaning of empyrean:
1. The highest reaches of heaven, believed by the ancients to be a realm of pure fire or light.
2. The abode of God and the angels; paradise.

The second-walk gallery reached 1 Million hits today which is quite amazing! I am very happy that so many people enjoy the gallery. At this point I'd like to thank everyone who's sending me pictures of John and thus helping the gallery grow! I'd especially like to thank Ve for her time and effort she puts into collecting pictures, sending them to me and since a few days uploading them herself to the gallery! Also a big thank you to Karim who's always doing magic and makes it possible for me to provide you with exclusive HQ pictures you wont find anywhere else!

Keep on checking the "latest uploads" in order to see what's new in there since I won't make any newspost for "regular sized" pictures.

And last but not least thanks to you all who visit and enjoy the site. Thanks for the comments and encouraging messages, thanks for the support and love!

Due to the fact that I barely have time to do the small gallery updates I came to the decision to allow you guys to upload your pictures! All albums in the Live on Stage group, Public Appearances group and Photoshoot group are open for you as well as the unsorted album in the Candid group.

Rules are the following:

1 - Check if the pictures you want to upload are in the gallery already! Please save me the time to check for dublicates. It's rather annoying.

2 - Do not upload pictures that are watermarked or have a tag. Also do not upload private pictures taken by fans. Rather ask them to upload them here themselves!

3 - Please do not spam! Pictures have to be John related. Don't upload resized and pieces of pictures that are already in the gallery. (example: cutting out John's head from a HQ and upload it seperately again as a new picture)

4 - If you have pictures for an album that isn't there yet, please email me first and tell me exactly what the album needs to be named (place, date, event, etc.). I will then create the album for you.

How does uploading work (registered members only!):

# Go to the album you want to upload pictures to. (or simply click on "upload file" in the menu bar)
# Click "upload file"
# Upload files and click on "next" - pictures load
# Click on "next" where you then choose the album, give a name and a description (optional).

That's it! Before the pictures will appear in the gallery I will have to approve them. This "project" is in its testing phase. If the gallery gets spammed or other major problems occur I will stop it instantly!
In the future I will make HQ picture uploads only (with exceptions) and for those I will make a news post. For the pictures you upload there won't be a news post, however, your latest 2 pictures uploaded is shown at the index page!
