N.A.S.A. debut album "Spirit of Apollo" featuring John Frusciante on one of the
tracks (Way Down) together with RZA and Barbie Hatch is released today. There're a lot of interesting cosmic ideas behind the whole project and of course a remarkable collaboration. You can check them out right here: |

John is featured in the Vintage Guitar Magazine of this month. I'll just take a few quotes for you to see what the article on him is about:
"Lisa Sharken talks with Red Hot Chili Peppers' guitarist John Frusciante about making music and his impressive arsenal of instruments, which favors pre-CBS Strats for use onstage and in the studio." "Best known for his work with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante thoroughly enjoys every aspect of making music, and continuously experiments with new and unusual ways to create it. As a teenager, Frusciante became interested in writing and recording his own music. He started making solo albums years ago, and with the luxury of having his own recording studio, Frusciante has combined personal recording techniques developed through experimentation with tricks of the trade learned from celebrated producer Rick Rubin." Go have a look at a few guitars of John here Don't forget to grab an issue, those of you who can! The cover looks like this: |

I added the lyrics to the songs of The Empyrean. Only the two bonus tracks of the Japanese version are missing.
You can find them in the music section. Just click on 'lyrics' and then go to the second page. They are truly beautiful, not that I expected anything less from John. But I feel like writing them on my walls just so I have them around me all the time. |
